Changes to Facebook Private Statistic Permissions 👌

by Hubert Grzesiek on June 10, 2020

Facebook introduced more specific permissions as a replacement for Manage Pages. We have immediately reflected these changes in quintly. The required permissions are now as follows:

Facebook Basic Insights: Read Insights, Pages Read Engagement
Facebook Messages: Pages Show List, Pages Manage Metadata, Read Page Mailboxes
Facebook Post Authors: Pages Read Engagement, Read Insights, Business Management
Facebook Ad Campaigns: Ads Read
Instagram Basic Insights: Pages Show List, Instagram Basic, Instagram Manage Insights

You can read more about this change from Facebook directly here. Facebook announced the more specific permissions would be deprecated in 2022, however, it happened sooner than we expected. You might have received a notification regarding invalid private statistics. We can confirm this has been resolved.
