Update to Facebook Ad Analytics ⛏

We have made further improvements to the performance by now persisting Facebook Ad Analytics. With this update, you will experience much quicker loading times! When you connect a Facebook profile to Ad Analytics you will be prompted to select one ad account, however, with this release, all ad accounts belonging to the Facebook profile will be included.

You will now also find three columns in our default metric to help you understand where the ad was targeted:

Targeting summary - A summary of the ad's targeting settings, that may include location, age and language targeting.
Targeted platforms - Describes which are the targeted platforms of this ad.
Targeting placements - The Ad's placements (e.g. news feed on desktop computers).



Go check out the Ads Performance table now. Please note, two columns are hidden by default, just add the metric to a dashboard and unhide the columns in the edit settings. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our customer success team via support@quintly.com or live chat.

What does this mean? quintly data is now accessible in Brandwatch Vizia, the leading marketing and reporting visualization tool. You can choose from social media metrics to benchmark with the industry you are in or add your own quintly data to Vizia.

Updated icon styles ✔

To keep the tool looking fresh and up to date with the current social media brand guidelines, we have updated all the icons in the tool. Since last year, most networks have opted to break free from square containers and dull colours, making each network much more distinct from the others!

First update to our profile management 💪

The first part of the bigger update to the profile management section is a transition to a new-look interface that paves the way for some powerful new features. You can see below you now have a better overview of profiles, being twice as efficient with space. Also, next to each profile it shows if it is added to a group.



The bigger update which is coming soon will include some very helpful features. To get a small glimpse of what's coming to the profile management they are listed below:

  • Allowing multiple insight connections per profile which improves redundancy
  • Disconnected insights will be easier to find
  • A completely new section to see who has authenticated which profiles
  • Implementing uses cases for better understanding when connecting to insights

New style in automated report emails 📧

The automated report emails have a fresh look matching the tool colours and style. Also, automated report emails can now handle bigger report sizes. This means, if the report is larger than 10mb there will be a link to download the report. If it is smaller than 10mb it will still be attached to the email as usual.

New refresh button on all metrics 🔄

You can now find a refresh button on all metrics! You can use this button to make sure the data is freshly loaded. If you hover over the button you will see the last time it was refreshed. This button is available on dashboard level, single metrics on the dashboard, single metrics in the analysis section and in the metric preview option in the discover section.

Better loading performance continued 💪🏼

Carrying on from the recent update to Facebook insights own post data, we now also persist Facebook insights own videos and Instagram insights own posts. The data will be refreshed every 6 hours and each post/video will be updated for a duration of 30 days after the creation date.

As a result, deleted and hidden posts or videos that are imported will still be available.

Better loading performance ⚡

You will now experience faster loading times when analyzing Facebook insights own post data. We now persist the data which will be refreshed every 6 hours for the last 30 days.

As a result, deleted and hidden posts that are imported will still be available. Posts that do not have their own engagements, such as photos added to an album, will be available showing n/a values. Keep an eye on the new 'Last Updated' column when analyzing posts.

Last updated column now available in most table metrics ⏰

You can now find a new column in most post level table metrics called 'Last Updated'. This column shows when the post was last imported in our database. This ensures more transparency when analyzing data.
