PDF, PNG and JPG exports and report now displaying new version layout 📉

Following on from the recent link export update, we have now made updates to PDF, PNG and JPG formats. This includes the PDF in automated reports.

You'll see in the automated report PDF we have added a new graphic on the cover page which is more in line with printer margins, newly applied styles and utilized the pages space better.

In the PDF, PNG and JPG formats you'll see we have also utilized the space of the pages better with a smaller margin, bigger charts and new applied styles. Export times are a lot faster with smaller file sizes!

We are super happy with the outcome and hope that you are too. If you have any feedback for us we would love to hear it. Just reach out to our Customer Success team at support@quintly.com.

Redesigned metric builder 🎉

We have redesigned our metric builder to help users build metrics more efficiently. Check out the gifs below to get a quick overview of what changed.

The space between the QQL console and config is now adjustable:

The new sidebar with the metric metadata can be minimized creating more space for the metric builder:

It is now possible to assign a use case tag to custom metrics in the sidebar, this way you can filter for these tags in the discover section. There is now a new button to format a query:

If you have any questions or feedback we would love to hear it! Just reach out to our Customer Success team at support@quintly.com or live chat.

Improved error messages

At quintly we always strive for transparency. That being said, we have been improving our error messages in the tool and API. Of course, we hope you don’t run into these errors, but if you do you’ll now know the reason why.

We now show in an error message if the server timeouts and if the page request limit was reached. To find out more about the page request limit reached, head to our article here.

If you have any feedback, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Link exports now displaying new version layout 📈

On each dashboard, you have the option to export the data to a few different formats. We are currently revamping the exports to display the new version and the first to receive the update is the link format. It now mirrors the dashboard in the tool plus some more.

You can see below the old layout vs the new layout. At the top, we added a short text to indicate when the link will expire.

Also, you can now click to maximise a metric in the link export where you will see the metric description.

You can expect more updates to other formats very soon!

More information in error messages

When analyzing your profiles, in rare cases the metric may fail to load if a profile is experiencing an issue. If this is the case, the error message will now return the profile name that is experiencing the issue. Providing you with a more detailed message you'll have a better idea of why an error is showing. For example, if one or more profiles have invalid insights, the message will tell you which profile(s) you need to update the insights.
