E.g. for Facebook videos we now include metrics covering longer view times, like 60 seconds and 15 minute view counts.
Several data sources and columns will be deprecated by June 30, 2020. These changes have been made to reorganize data in our data sources so it's easier to be used and to remove legacy data points that are not served by the social networks anymore. For most of the data sources and columns to be deprecated, you will find direct replacements in another data source. You can interpret these deprecations as a clean-up routine on our side. It is not a major change in the availability of data points by the social networks.
Is there any action required from you for you as a customer?
No, you do not need to take action yourself! All your default and custom metrics having direct replacements available will automatically be updated before June 30 by our team. All replacements represent the exact same metric, so you won't notice any differences in a metric's definition.
Very few data source columns will be fully removed on June 30th. You can identify those in our data source changelog not having the "replacement available" appendix. These columns are returning n/a values for longer time periods already, so there are no surprises to be expected. Metrics still relying on these columns to be deprecated would throw an error instead of showing n/a values after June 30.
