Custom notes now available on the metric level - quintly - Product changes

Thanks to this update, you are now able to create custom notes on a single metric level. It becomes convenient if you share your dashboards with other people.

How to create a custom note

To add a custom note to any metric, head to "Edit Settings" and scroll down to the "Custom notes" section. Type in your message, and click on Apply.

It is worth mentioning that only basic HTML formatting is supported (i.e., "<p>", "<b>", "<br>", "<i>", "<big>").

Once saved, you can view your notes as a tooltip right next to the metric name, as a separate section in the metric detailed view, or in the exported report underneath the metric itself.

Availability

We added custom notes on the metric level as a natural evolution of the report's notes, which are available for some time. In this case, instead of focusing on a dashboard level, we have added more granular access to notes. Each metric custom note will be available for shared dashboards, reports, exports, and export links.

This update will allow you to share information on a more granular and focused level so that your team, managers, or clients don't miss important insights.
